Export Assessments and Controls

Use of the export function can be used to backup or share assessments and controls.

The exception is a copyright protected assessment or control. For these, the export function is disabled.

The export file type will be JSON.

To export assessments or controls, complete the following steps.

1. Click Compliance > Assessments or Controls, depending on which type you want to export.
2. From the list, in the row for the assessment or control, click the Menu icon , and then click Export.
3. The JSON file is automatically downloaded.

The JSON files download as assessmentpackage.export or controlpackage.export. You can view the file in Note Pad or other text viewer.
