Upload Device Packs

Contact FireMon Support to receive the specific device pack (a .jar file) if it was not included in the FMOS GA release.

To upload a new device pack or update an existing device pack, complete the following steps.

  1. Download the .jar file sent from FireMon Support.
  2. On the toolbar, click Device > Device Packs.
  3. Click Upload.
  4. In the Upload Device Pack dialog box, click Choose File.
    1. Locate the downloaded .jar device pack file, select it and then click Open.
    1. Click Upload.

  5. After the file is uploaded, return to the Devices page.

You can decide to:

  • Click Create to select the device to add.

  • For an existing device, click the Menu icon and then click Retrieve Configuration. This will manually request a new device configuration retrieval.
