Create a New Flow Profile
Note for MSSPs: At this time, a TFA profile can only be created in Enterprise.
To create a new traffic flow profile, complete the following steps.
- On the toolbar, click Tools > Traffic Flow Analysis > Profiles.
- Click Create.
- Complete the General Information section.
- In the Name box, type a unique name for the profile.
- Select a Target Device from the list that the analysis will be performed on.
- Enter an optional Description for the profile.
- Set the Data Collection Period.
- Complete the Data Collection Criteria section.
- If necessary, for Target Rule, click Lookup.
- From the Rule Search results list, select the rule to use as the target.
- If no results return, the selected target device may not have logging enabled. Either verify that logging is enabled for the selected target device or choose another device.
Note: You must enter at least one of the following criteria. Example data to enter is provided.
- In the Source box, type the source IP address of the traffic flow profile.
- In the Destination box, type the destination IP address of the traffic flow profile.
- From the Protocol menu, select the type of protocol for the source and destination IP addresses.
- In the Port box, type the port for the traffic flow.
- In the Application box, type the application name.
- If necessary, for Target Rule, click Lookup.
- Click Create Flow Profile.
