Forgotten Password

You may utilize the forgotten password function on the login screen to reset your local password.

These guidelines must be met for you to utilize the forgotten password function:

  • The user name exists
  • The user name has a local authentication associated with the account or authtype=null
  • The user name has an email address associated with it
  • The user account is not locked, expired, or disabled

To reset your forgotten password, complete the following steps.

  1. On the login screen, click the Forgot Password? link.
  2. Enter your user name in the field box, and click Send Email.
  3. Check your email (the one assigned to your user name) and follow the instructions to reset your password. If you do not receive an email with the reset link, contact your administrator.
