About Explode Network in a Box

Explode Network in a Box (ENIAB) is a FireMon initiative that redesigns how cloud environments are modeled within SIP. Rather than representing an entire cloud environment—such as an Azure subscription or AWS VPC—as a single monolithic device, ENIAB decomposes it into distinct network elements. This provides more granular visibility and enables accurate Access Path Analysis (APA) across cloud infrastructure.

The initiative enhances the cloud device normalization process by modeling cloud resources as interoperable network components, allowing cloud infrastructure to be analyzed as an extension of the enterprise network.
