Create a Syslog Configuration

To create a new central syslog configuration, complete the following steps.

1. On the toolbar, click System > Central Syslog Configurations.
2. Click Create. Or to use a copy of the default configuration, click the Menu icon and then click Duplicate.
3. Complete the General Properties section.
   1. Enter a Name for the configuration.
   2. Enter an optional Description for the configuration.
4. Complete the Match Properties section.
   1. Enter a Match Pattern.
   2. Enter a Description for the match pattern.
   3. Click to add additional match patterns.
5. Click Save.
