Highlights

Integration for ServiceNow: Automated CMDB Update: Keep your ServiceNow CMDB accurate without lifting a finger. The FireMon Integration now automatically updates your ServiceNow IP and DNS tables using live data from Asset Manager — so the devices in your CMDB match what's actually running on your network.

  • Fewer manual updates — Asset Manager data flows directly into ServiceNow, reducing time-consuming manual entry and reconciliation.

  • More accurate records — IP and DNS tables reflect real, current asset data instead of relying on periodic manual syncs.

  • Better visibility across teams — Security and IT teams working in ServiceNow get a more reliable, up-to-date view of your device landscape.

RDAP Discovery: Know Who Owns the Public IPs on Your Network: Understanding who your devices are talking to is just as important as knowing what they're talking to. With RDAP Discovery, FireMon now performs RDAP lookups on discovered public IP addresses — automatically identifying the organization that owns that public IP space.

  • Context on external connections — See ownership details for public IPs your devices communicate with, not just raw addresses.

  • Stronger NetFlow analysis — Especially valuable when ingesting NetFlow data, where understanding the source or destination of external traffic helps separate expected business connections from unfamiliar or potentially risky ones.

  • Faster investigation — Skip the manual WHOIS lookup step when triaging unfamiliar external IPs — ownership data is surfaced automatically as part of discovery.

More Ports Added to Default list of Port Discovery: Port Discovery has been enhanced with an increase in our Default Port List; 17 new ports have been added to the default Vulnerable Port List. Furthermore, FireMon can supply list of the 500, 1000, or 5000 most common ports for yearly enhanced security scans.

Scout Connectivity Reporting Enhancements: Scout Disconnect Messages have been added to Events and can be sent to syslog. Also the UI Status Page for Scout Connections now supports Scout initiated connections.

Tripwire and Rapid7 Device Severity Score Added to Device Details: Device Details now surfaces the Tripwire and Rapid7 severity scores. Assess a device's risk posture without switching tools or running a separate lookup.

Infoblox Integration: Customer Extensible Attributes: Previously limited to five fixed Asset Manager attributes (Vendor, Model, Device Type, OS, and Version), the Infoblox Integration now supports any custom attribute you've defined in Asset Manager. Discovered device data is automatically written to Infoblox as Extensible Attributes — giving you full flexibility to sync the asset context that matters most to your environment.

New Qualys Dashboard showing Vulnerabilities: Qualys Dashboard has been improved to show Device Vulnerabilities and help prioritize triage. Quickly View Devices with High CVEs against Asset Manager discovery data; Perimeter Devices, Security Devices, Unknown Devices, Devices running Deprecated SSL versions or responding to common SNMP Credentials.
