Google Cloud Platform

This is a bring your own license (BYOL), you must already have a SIP license to activate.

As of the Feature release 2023.12, FMOS can be installed in Google Cloud without repetitive upgrades. FMOS can be installed and run on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Prerequisites

• This process presumes that cloud build permissions and other necessary GCP permissions are already present in your environment. Your cloud team should ascertain that the permissions to build a custom image and deploy it within your environment are present.

• Serial console access to monitor the installation has been enabled. To learn how to complete this task, refer to GCP's documentation:

• Create a firewall rule with a tag name that allows access to ports 22 for SSH and 55555 for the FMOS Control Panel. This tag can also be restricted to certain IP addresses.

  Tag names act as the method to invoke firewall rules in GCP.
