Create a Group

A Cisco ASA device is configured with a device pack that supports the following automation:

NETWORK_INLINE_MEMBER

SERVICE_INLINE_MEMBER

RULE_SINGLE_VALUE_PER_COLUMN

The device pack also has the layout templateOptions configured with:

supportsInlineObjects

singleValuePerColumn

For Cisco ASA devices, If the Source, Destination, or Service field for the rule change has more than one value, you will be notified with an error message: "Only one value supported for this field. Please create a Group containing these members."

To create a group from the multiple members that exist in the field, complete the following steps.

1. For the field causing an error due to multiple values, click the Add icon.

2. Select Create Group for Members.

3. In the Object Change dialog box:

   1. Enter a Name for the group.

   2. The Group Membership field auto populates with the values that existed in the rule change form.

   3. Click Save.

4. The new group will then populate in the rule change form. The previous values will be removed and the field will only have one value (the new group).
