NAT Rules Table

The following table defines the values in the NAT Rules table. The order of rules listed in the NAT table is set in the firewall policy by the network administrator.

The columns under the Original heading show the source, destination, and service of a rule before either the source or destination was translated. Only the source OR the destination IP address will be translated. The columns under the Translated heading show the source, destination, and service after either the source or destination have been translated. In most cases, the service should not change.

Rule The rule that governs traffic to or from an NAT rule.
Policy The policy for the NAT rule.
Device The device the NAT rule belongs to.
Original  
Source The source IP address of the rule before it is translated. Either this value or the destination IP address will translated.
Destination The destination IP address of the rule before it is translated.
Service The protocol and port the rule uses to filter network traffic.
Translated  
Source If translated, the new IP address. If not, the original IP address.
Destination If translated, the new destination IP address. If not, the original destination IP address.
Service

The protocol and port the rule uses to filter network traffic. This should be the same protocol and port as the original service.
