Network Objects
Network objects are used to categorize IP addresses into different types of network entities. These network entities are then used to represent sources and destinations in the settings that make up your firewall policy.
Network objects are defined segments of your network that you can reuse. Use network objects to centralize data entry so that you only need to change the network object instead of each instance of the data. You can give these network objects recognizable names; for example, the IP address 192.168.5.34 becomes the Sales Web Server, and the IP range 192.168.5.35 - 192.168.5.45 becomes Local Office Web Servers.
Use network objects to create custom network address and port lists that policies can share.
