Network Objects Table

The following table defines the values in the Network Objects table.

Value Description
Network Object Summary

Network Object—the IP address for the device where the network object belongs.

Device—the device to which the network object belongs.

Address Book—will display the address book name if the device is using zone-based address books within Policy Planner.

Comments—any comments that have been left for the specified object. Often used to describe the object type and use. Click to view.

ID—the unique SIP-generated (not set by a user) identifier (UUID) for an object. Click to view.

Rule Documentation—the meta-data that explains the rule. Click to view.

Addresses The IP address for the network object.
References

Security Rules—the number of times the object is referenced by a rule.

NAT Rules—the number of times the object is referenced by a rule.

Parent Group If the object is a member of a group, it will be listed in the parent group column (by the name of the parent group).
Cleanup

Usage—the usage (hits) for the object.

Last Used—the date the object was last used. This value could be "Never".

Properties—any property labels associated to the object.

Tags User—these tags are applied to the object by a user.
Action menu for object tags.
