Ignore a Rule

This feature allows you to mark specific firewall security rules as ignored, excluding them from Behavior Model functions such as Device APA, Network APA, and Removable Rules. Since Rule Recommendation relies on APA and routes, it will automatically reflect these updates.

This change introduces a UI-only flag in the rule document, requiring no modifications to Policy Planner or other components and reports

To set a rule as ignored, follow these steps.

1. Open the rule in Security Manager.

2. Scroll to the Rule Documentation section.

3. Click Edit.

4. Set the Ignore field to True.

5. Click Save.

To verify, open the Security Rules list and apply a filter.

2. Scroll to Rule Documentation

3. Select Ignore > True.
