Manually Route Rules

You are able to manually route a single rule or multiple rules for review from within Security Manager to Policy Optimizer that should be analyzed further to cleanup policy inconsistencies.

Route a Single Rule

To manually route a rule, complete the following steps.

• From the Security Rules list, find the rule to route, click the Menu icon , and then click Route Rule to Policy Optimizer.

A new review ticket is automatically created in Policy Optimizer and listed in the All Reviews list.

Route Multiple Rules

To bulk route rules, complete the following steps.

1. On the Security Rules page, click Add Filter. Or use the existing filters of Cleanup Needed, Improvement Needed, Failed or Changed.
2. After you've filtered the list, click Actions > Bulk Route Rules to PO.
3. In the Route Rule to Policy Optimizer dialog box, confirm the number of rules being sent and then click Send.

Each rule sent automatically creates a new review ticket in Policy Optimizer and listed in the All Reviews list.
